Weather Warning

As the winter weather moves in and the roads become a little less desirable to travel, if you are unable to make it to your scheduled appointment, all you have to do is call our offices and let us know. We will try to accommodate you with the changes of the weather the best that we can. Be careful on the roads and call our Andover office at 733-0077 and our Augusta office at 775-0700.

PT Plus Annual Chili Cookout

As we get slip a few more weeks into the Autumn season, we here at PT Plus know that it's time for an event that we look forward to each and every year: our annual, community-wide chili cookout. After years of doing this, the community and our patients now look forward to this event that we host.

This marks year 4 for us and we plan on it being our biggest yet. We plan to hold the event at our Augusta facility at 5:30 on Thursday, October 15.

If you have any questions, feel free to stop by or give us a call. This is a free, open to the public event and we would love to see you and your friends and family.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization – IASTM, also known as ASTYM, SASTYM, and SASTM has been used to treat a number of diagnoses for some time. SASTM is used in our clinic with great results and utilizes instruments designed for treatment of soft tissue disorders. Based on literature and years of clinical research, we have determined a list of disorders that instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization has most effectively been used for in the restoration of function and the reduction of pain. These include but are not limited to:

*Heel Pain – Plantarfascitis

*Lateral and Medical Epicondylitis

*Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

*Trigger Finger

*Surgical Scaring

*Knee Replacements

*Achilles Tendonitis – Pump Bump

Both PT Plus locations have certified staff who can answer questions or treat these problems. Give us a call if you would like more information.
